John Heerdink, Co-founder & Managing Director of Vista Partners LLC, has advised public and private companies in the Technology, Life Sciences, Cleantech, Energy, Mining & Minerals and Consumer sectors for nearly 20 years. In addition, Mr. Heerdink has listed companies on public exchanges via IPO, reverse merger and assisted foreign issuers seeking listing on a US exchange. Mr. Heerdink has assisted small cap companies to raise debt and equity capital for growth, consummated mergers and acquisitions and performed all other matters dealing with investor relations and business development. He has been involved in or led approximately 300 transactions. He maintains an extensive, diverse, and growing relationship base in the investment community, lending industry and investment banking industry globally. He has founded the following financial institutions during his career: Heerdink Advisory Services, LLC, Alchemy Ventures, LLC, United Capital Investment Advisors, Acqua Wellington Asset Management. He has also held management positions at the following institutions: Merriman Curhan Ford & Co. First Union Brokerage Services (Now Wells Fargo), RAF Financial Services, & Bristol Myers Squibb. He is based in the San Francisco office and holds the following Securities licenses: Series 24, 7, 79, 65, & 63.
Ross Silver, Co-founder & Principal Analyst of Vista Partners LLC, has been advising, researching, and investing in public companies across all industries throughout his career. Prior to founding Vista Partners LLC, Mr. Silver was a research analyst at a San Francisco based hedge fund focusing on companies with a market capitalization of less than $600 Million. In November, 2000, Mr. Silver joined Dresdner RCM as a research associate covering consumer discretionary and consumer staple companies. Prior to joining Dresdner RCM, Mr. Silver was a member of CIBC's Technology, Media, and Telecom Investment Banking group where he assisted the team with equity and debt offerings. Mr. Silver holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a major in Business Economics. In addition to his duties at Vista Partners, Mr. Silver serves as a consultant to the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
